DC Ecosystem
In Washington, DC, the engines of government, business, nonprofits and academia all come together. At Georgetown, we stand at the frontier of this dynamic ecosystem, leveraging our expertise across disciplines and convening key stakeholders to address pressing challenges.
Academic Immersion
A Collaborative Center
Georgetown has always been at the center of important conversations in our nation’s capital, with members of our community engaging with local community leaders, the federal government, businesses and more. At the Capitol Campus, you can be part of those conversations and leave your mark.

MSB students can join the Small Business Corps (SBC), a program that supports local businesses in under-resourced areas of DC. Every semester, students provide pro-bono consulting, and in return, receive training and personal coaching from the Boston Consulting Group, Georgetown McDonough faculty and Business for Impact staff.
Georgetown Law’s clinical program allows students to represent real clients in DC facing real legal challenges.

Georgetown University was recently honored with the 2025 Community Changemaker Award from the NoMa Business Improvement District (BID) in recognition of its leadership in launching and expanding the Capitol Campus.

The Center for Social Justice offers opportunities for direct service and social action. From DC Reads to the Father McKenna Center, getting involved near the Capitol Campus has never been easier.
Helping to Create a Healthy and Vibrant Neighborhood
Students can take the innovative, “Health Equity Think Tank: Exploring Realities and Solutions” course created by the School of Health and the Berkley School of Nursing that encourages students to take a solutions-oriented approach to health equity issues.
Faith that Does Justice
Through its partnership with Dog Tag Bakery, Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies (SCS) helps veterans, military spouses, and caregivers build the next chapter of their careers.
