A Home in DC

Washington, DC, is a dynamic place to live and learn, and our Capitol Campus is located in the heart of it all. From lively student communities to museums and restaurants, you’ll be immersed in all DC has to offer — with Georgetown’s warmth and sense of purpose to inspire you, and our Hilltop Campus nearby.

The Georgetown Experience

Heart, body and mind — Georgetown cares about the whole you. That’s why we’ve created a campus in the city with on-site advising, access to student clubs, religious services, community service opportunities, and your choice of spots to eat and meet. There are so many ways to build a life here.

A City Like No Other

Attend an embassy party. Go gallery hopping. Even getting around DC is exhilarating. Nyasha Gandawa (B’23) often walked past the U.S. Capitol on his way to an internship at the Library of Congress. “Being a part of this city adds to the richness of the experience,” he said.

“I wanted to experience the city. Being more connected to the Metro and all that DC has to offer, I feel more integrated.”

Zoe Wen, CALL Program Student

“When you’re down here in the thick of it in DC, a lot of opportunities open up for you. It’s a good place to be.”

Brooks Clifford, Bachelor’s, Public Policy

“I enjoy it a lot. Even though it’s a small city, it offers what you can find in London, Paris, New York: art, culture, museums and amazing international events.”

Camilo Enriquez, Master’s, Policy Management

Apartment Living

Open to both graduate and undergraduate students, 55 H marries modern apartment living with a Georgetown-style community. That means you can work out in the gym, then grill with friends on the outdoor patio or join game night in the lounge area.

Hoyas on Your Doorstep

Learning and living on the Capitol Campus means you’re also just blocks away from Capital One Arena. Cheer on the Hoyas men’s basketball team at home games — then grab a bite in Chinatown.
