The McCourt School’s location on the Capitol Campus puts students at the center of the policy world, providing them with unprecedented access to policymakers and experts who accelerate and deepen students’ professional impact.
Georgetown Law offers one of the largest and most comprehensive curriculum of any law school in the world, with legal clinics and centers and institutes that provide students with opportunities to hone their research and advocacy skills in the heart of where laws are made, debated and enforced. All of its graduate programs are located on the Capitol Campus.
The School of Continuing Studies offers a wide range of programs designed to empower students to meet the demands of our rapidly changing economy and society. Programs include professional master’s degrees, a bachelor’s completion degree, a doctoral degree, English language courses, and certificates in industry-leading subjects taught by adjunct faculty who are experts in their fields. Designed for working professionals, programs include flexible course schedules, with classes taught in person on the Capitol Campus and online.
The School of Nursing’s Ph.D. in Nursing program is a premier, full-time program for individuals who want to be leaders for change by advancing the discipline and serving in academic, community health, health care, policy, global, and research settings. To study at the Capitol Campus, undergraduate students must first be admitted to Georgetown University, where they will begin their experience on the Hilltop campus. First-year applicants should apply to the College of Arts & Sciences and indicate Public Policy or Environment & Sustainability as their tentative choice of major field. The Capitol Applied Learning Labs (CALL) is a single-semester program on the Capitol Campus where students gain internship experience, intertwine their personal and professional growth, and chart the course of their post-graduation success. The CALL is open to current Georgetown undergraduates.
The B.S. in Environment & Sustainability is a joint degree program from Georgetown’s College of Arts & Sciences and the Earth Commons. In this program, students gain the knowledge, experience and skills in the classroom, in the field and around the world to make a positive impact.
The A.B. in Public Policy/Joint Program in Public Policy provides students with the opportunity to explore Georgetown’s signature liberal arts curriculum on the Hilltop, through which students gain exposure to a broad variety of disciplines and approaches to knowledge. As juniors, students transition to the Capitol Campus to engage with interdisciplinary frameworks of policy design and implementation, and build specialized skills and experience at the center of the policy world..
