Campus of the Future

On the Capitol Campus, the world’s best students and faculty come together across disciplines to teach and learn, innovate and research, and forge solutions, just steps away from the institutions and leaders shaping the country and the world.

The Future of Education

The Capitol Campus is innovating a model of higher education that’s aligned with the learning styles of today’s students and focused on empowering students to tackle real-world problems.

Located steps from the nation’s center of influence, the campus puts students at the heart of the most important conversations taking place today. This is a place to listen and learn, exchange ideas and contribute to solutions for society’s challenges.

The city is an extended classroom for Capitol Campus students. From class trips to Capitol Hill to speak with policymakers, to valuable internships, solutions-focused research, legal clinics and student-run consultancies, students learn through experience.

Because solving today’s complex issues requires multidisciplinary thinking, the Capitol Campus empowers collaboration across fields of study. Students learn to work together in interdisciplinary teams and integrate multiple lenses.

An Anchor in the City

Georgetown has dozens of partnerships with DC government agencies, nonprofits and public schools. With the new Capitol Campus, we’re building on our engagement and investing in the long-term well-being of the communities among whom we live.

Continuing Education Comes Home

With the relocation of Georgetown’s School of Continuing Studies to the Capitol Campus, the university offers the DC community an accessible way to gain skills and become changemakers.

The Future of the Nation

We’re bringing our Jesuit, values-based lens to the issues that are debated and decided in DC. Through research, convenings, dialogue and collaboration, we act as a bridge between disparate perspectives and interests to help catalyze action at home and around the world.
