Georgetown’s Annual Move Out Drive encourages community members to donate their gently-used items to benefit local communities in need and to support the university’s waste diversion goals. Donated items are given to local non-profit partners in the DC regional area. In 2025, drives at the Hilltop and Capitol Campus collected over 50,000 lbs of donated goods, valued at over $430,000.
