Business and Instructional Continuity
During events such as inclement weather and other scenarios where classes on campus may be cancelled, the University can choose to operate under Instructional and Business Continuity.
Instructional Continuity
The Instructional Continuity policy supports the continuation of instructional activities through synchronous distance instruction when unforeseen disruptions cause delayed openings or campus closure. Capitol Campus IST provides faculty, staff and students with the software resources needed to connect to classes, people and technology from remote locations.
Business Continuity
If there’s an occurrence of an inclement weather event such as a snow storm or hurricane, Georgetown has resources to keep up with your regular activities, especially if you will need to stay at home for an extended period.
